Honorary Members

Honorary Members are physical persons who have made major contributions to Neuroscience in general and to Austrian Neuroscience in particular. Each ANA member is entitled to propose persons for becoming Honorary Member. Please submit proposals to the ANA Board via the ANA secretary This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. The ANA General Assembly decides on the admission of new Honorary Members upon recommendation by the ANA Board. Honorary Members have the same rights (active and passive voting) as Ordinary Members but are waived their annual membership fee.

Until 2012 the Austrian Neuroscience association has awarded an honorary membership to

  • Dr. Erwin Neher (*1944)
