COVID - 19 UPDATES

UPDATE ON 27.09.2021

Please notice that a FFP2 mask is now required inside the facility hosting the meeting. We kindly ask you to bring your own masks for the duration of the meeting. A simple mouth-and-nose protection will not be sufficient, besides if you do have an exemption for medical reasons.

We are looking forward to an exciting and save ANA meeting 2021

UPDATE ON 15.09.2021:

The ANA Meeting 2021 will be an in-person event – we thus need to comply with a strict COVID-19 health concept to ensure a safe event for all our participants!

Vaccinated, recovered, or tested (3G)

We strongly advise our participants to get vaccinated. If for any reason, you cannot get vaccinated, it is mandatory to show a negative PCR test certificate no older than 72 hours at the registration desk. Without vaccination certificate or certificate of recovery, you must take an additional COVID-19 PCR test on the first day of the conference before 1.00 pm at your own expense (EUR 35,-) to ensure non-infectivity covering all 3 days of the conference. PCR test kits will be available on site and test results should be obtained on the evening of the same day.

IMPORTANT
In case you require a PCR test on-site and have not yet filled out the online poll, please click here to let us know by Friday, September 17th, so we can plan accordingly.

Online registration closes on September 19th, no on-site registration possible
Prior online registration is mandatory
Only previously registered participants without symptoms of illness ("flu signs") will be admitted, who also confirm that they have not been in contact with a corona patient who tested positive in the past 14 days. Please bring your digital COVID certificates (either vaccination certificate or negative PCR test certificate) to the conference by means of “Grüner Pass”.
Please take note that
on-site registration will NOT be possible. Online registration will close on September 19th, 2021!

Suspected cases:If symptoms occur while participating in the meeting or if your PCR test comes back positive, please inform us immediately via the hotline +43 677 606 404 0380 or via email: office@austrian-neuroscience.at (Petra Scholze and Isabella Sarto-Jackson).

Hygiene concept:
Please find all important information about health and safety measures in the hygiene concept attached and on our website.

Please take note that we are obligated – following § 17 Abs. 1 and 2 of the 2nd COVID-19-Opening Regulations – to collect name, email address, and telephone numbers of persons who participate in the event for the purpose of contact tracing. For easier evaluation in case contact tracing becomes necessary, we will also take pictures or short movies of the audience. Data will be stored for 28 days and deleted thereafter.

Photos & short movies:
Please note that by participating in the ANA Meeting, you give permission that ANA can take photos / short movies during the event that will be used for contact tracing if necessary. In addition, photos and short movies from the event (including the audience) may be posted on our website and social media channels.
